I’m Marek
I have successfully delivered solutions to a wide range of clients — from small SaaS startups to top tech companies like Intel, McDonald’s and Capgemini. The products I’ve been involved with saw user satisfaction and performance improvements — from +78% NPS growth to 28% higher mobile app ratings. Most of my experience is in FinTech, SaaS and B2B, with detours into HR tech, network and data engineering products.
My career so far
I have a proven track record of improving user experience in various products — usability, information architecture and user flows. My work has contributed to improvements in product KPIs such as MRR and NPS and helped products grow sustainably, with minimal churn.
I leverage design principles to bring coherence and harmony to interfaces, and I’m obsessed with optimizing user flows and speeding up task completion times.
I’m a tech-savvy designer who collaborates closely with front-end and back-end developers — to the point of finding code-level solutions (e.g. npm packages) to design challenges, and discovering new ways to pull user insight from a product’s database.
I care deeply about experimentation and a proper design delivery process: efficient tokenized, headless design systems, full componentization and accessibility testing. I build AI-assisted, coded prototypes and contribute code directly to production codebases (Claude Code, Figma MCP), and I use tools like Webflow and FlutterFlow that let designers take on more of the delivery work.

Throughout most of my career I’ve held a one-man-army role, continually expanding my skill set to provide more value — especially in startup environments. That always meant close collaboration with other product departments: business development, stakeholders, developers and customer service, where my openness and professionalism were highly appreciated.
I have mentored several people to become better designers, and I conducted a three-month UX/UI design course for employees of one of Boeing Group’s companies — over 20 participants, with nearly perfect final scores.
Craft, values & growth
- Accessibility as a baseline
We all become disabled as we age — or as context limits us, like a screen in full sunlight. Designing for accessibility is designing for all of us, and part of products built to last years, not decades.
- Languages
I work fluently in Polish and English (presenting research to global clients), and I’m currently growing my Spanish.
- Always learning
Currently levelling up in AI workflows inside Figma, LLM-assisted research, and React/JS — plus product & business skills to pair design with strategy.
